Wythe Hotel Brand Identity
Practical People was consulted to rebrand Brooklyn's Wythe Hotel in 2022, evolving its brand identity to communicate an elevated guest experience.
The logotype is custom drawn in the copperplate style referencing the age of the historic building and vernacular etched stone typography seen throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan. An icon of the building is blind engraved to create a subtle tactility to printed pieces.
This identity is applied to all hotel collateral: guest check-in cards, compendium/directory design luggage tags, business cards, printed collateral, their website and more.
Gestura and Rework by Sociotype are the brand typefaces, chosen for their distinctive letterforms.
